Hawaii Beach Cabana – Weather Cancellation Policy
At Hawaii Beach Cabana, we are committed to providing you with a safe, relaxing, and memorable beachside experience. While we strive to accommodate all reservations, we recognize that Hawaii’s weather can be unpredictable. To ensure fairness and clarity, we have outlined our weather-related cancellation policy below.
1. Cancellations Due to Severe Weather (Initiated by Hawaii Beach Cabana)
Your safety is our highest priority. If severe weather conditions—such as high surf warnings, thunderstorms, or hurricanes—pose a risk, Hawaii Beach Cabana may need to cancel your reservation. In such cases, you will receive:
✅ A full refund, OR
✅ The option to reschedule at no additional cost within 12 months of your original booking.
We will notify you as soon as possible if we foresee any weather-related cancellations.
2. Guest-Initiated Cancellations Due to Weather Concerns
We completely understand that weather conditions can impact your plans. If you decide to cancel due to weather but no official warnings or advisories are in place, our standard cancellation policy applies:
24 Hours or More Notice: Full refund or option to reschedule.
Less than 24 Hours Notice: A 50% refund may be offered, or you may reschedule.
Same-Day Cancellations: Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds for same-day cancellations unless severe weather is officially confirmed.
3. What About Light Rain or Cloudy Skies?
Hawaii is known for quick weather changes, and brief rain showers often pass within minutes. Since light rain and overcast skies are common, Hawaii Beach Cabana does not cancel rentals for minor weather conditions unless there is a safety concern. If you’re unsure about the forecast, we encourage you to reach out to us on the day of your reservation.
